职教高考延续春季高考“知识+技能”的考试模式，考试科目为语文、数学、英语、理论知识和技能，文化课考试难度仅为夏考的一半，与高中阶段合格考难度相当，课考试也很基础，尤其是技能，经过培训每年考满分的学生也不少。夏季高考采用“3+3”的考试模式，考试内容有高中必修、选修内容以及基础上的拓展，难度相当大。
